Why AlbionForge keeps better books
Return-rate aware math
Net material cost, returned quantities, break-even prices and profit per focus - computed from the game's actual production-bonus formula, not rules of thumb.
Your prices, your browser
No live market feed by design: you enter prices you can actually trade at. Nothing is uploaded, tracked or stored beyond your own device. No accounts, no ads.
Cited and testable
Every game constant cites its source with a last-verified date, and the math engine is covered by hand-computed scenario tests published in the methodology.
Questions every silver-maker asks
Is focus worth using?
Focus raises the return rate from 15.25% to 43.5% (or 36.7% to 53.9% in a bonus city), which usually makes it very profitable - but focus is a scarce, slowly-regenerating resource. Every calculator here reports profit per focus point so you can compare it against every other use of your focus. High specialization halves focus costs repeatedly, making focus far cheaper for specialised crafters.
How does the city bonus work?
Each royal city specialises in one refined resource - Thetford in metal bars, Fort Sterling in planks, Martlock in leather, Lymhurst in cloth, Bridgewatch in stone blocks. Refining that resource there raises the return rate from 15.25% to 36.7% with no focus required; crafting the matching gear lines gets 24.8%. The full formula and table are in the city bonus guide.
